Lo Younge




Bio:


Lo Younge (b. 2002, Boulder, CO) lives and works between Baltimore and Colorado. He is currently
pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Younge’s practice focuses
on themes of gender, myth, psychology and the trans identity through a world of animals and beasts.
With a background in drawing and painting, the heart of his work is oil paintings, with the exception
of occasional gouache and graphite pieces. He has exhibited in Baltimore and DC, with a recent solo
exhibition at the Gateway Gallery at MICA in Baltimore.
